Private Residence Yuba City, CaliforniaJanuary, 2010

FPS was contacted by the resident who advised that she has been having paranormal activity in her home.

She has been punched, pinched, watched, her hair pulled and she feels threatened in her home. The resident also advises that she is sensitive and feels the negative energy in her home may be demonic. The incidents have increased over the past several months. She also states that she believes the spirit of her deceased father may be in the residence due to several comforting/joking incidents that reminded her of him. She also reported feeling watched.

The activity seems to be surrounding the female resident. The male resident in the home has felt nothing, but reports that a pillow propped up against the wall fell over when the female left the room. Female resident says that the activity does not happen in the second bedroom in the home where she keeps a bible.

A female upstairs neighbor also reports activity in her master bedroom (mirroring the bottom floor) and writing on the inside of the bedroom closet saying the home is haunted.:

Investigators: Tanya, Harold, Jeri, Danny, Gene. Both residents were present for the investigation, as well as an upstairs neighbor for part of investigation, and a friend for part of it.

Equipment Used: 3 digital cameras & 2 digital recorders, 1 EMF meter, 2 camcorders.

Time Started: 7:30 P.M.

Weather: Clear, dark, cold.

Evidence Gathered:

• Slight temperature difference felt between master bedroom and the second bedroom.

• EMF detector would flicker constantly when held by the female resident and then go dim. Battery was replaced with a fresh one and flickering continued.

Photo Evidence:

• Orb photo of the upstairs neighbor showed pronounced bright color (pink) with a second orb next to it, smaller and pale blue in color. Photo #1
• Several orbs near Jeri while she was communicating with the energies inside the residence. Photo #2
• Two photos of orbs surrounding the resident during investigation. Photos #3, #4
• Photo of the writing (in black marker) on the inside wall of the upstairs resident neighbor's closet. Photo #5
• Photo of reflection of night light in bedroom on ceiling light which looks like eyes when the light is off. Photo #6

Recorded Evidence:

• Heavy breathing noted on a camcorder and digital voice recorder while everyone was in the room doing EVP work. NOTE: of the investigators was having difficulty breathing due to a recent bout of pneumonia—handheld voice recorder was next to her.

Personal Experiences:

• Jeri had extensive discussion with the female resident regarding her abilities and experiences. Jeri felt the spirit of the female's deceased father was in the residence at times and watches over her.
• She also felt a different energy present, that of a darker being that she did not consider evil. The conversation with this being it stated the female belonged to him in another life, it pinched her because it liked her flesh, and it wasn't interested in the male in the home. Jeri felt that while there was physical touching going on from this being, it was more in the role of a protector rather than an aggressor. Further information provided to resident.
• During the investigation, a past abusive relationship was mentioned, in which the partner punched the female resident in the side, hit and pinched her. Some of the investigators wondered if the current paranormal problems could have been some sort of entity related to or left over from this past relationship.
• Gene reported he heard a growl toward the back bedroom. Nothing caught on the camcorder or voice recorders.
• Tanya was asking spirits present to 'knock on something, like this...” (where she knocked on the closet door in the bedroom twice), two distinct knocks were heard in the living room area where the male resident was. All present heard the knocks and one of the investigators could see the male resident at the time the knocks happened, and said the male resident wasn't near any walls at the time. The response knocks were not heard in any recordings.

While little physical evidence was found, investigators had several personal experiences (noted above).

The resident was asked to move the bible into the master bedroom, and immediately reported the feeling in the bedroom as 'lighter'. The resident reported the activity lightened up within 4 to 5 days and then the activity ceased. The activity resumed later on in the month. Note: HPI Sacramento is coming to investigate within the next few weeks and we look forward to seeing their results.

Investigators also examined the upstairs residence where that resident had pararanormal claims as well, however our investigation focused on the downstairs residence. The writing in the upstairs closet was on the inside, written in English in black marker. It appeared to be a child's writing and stated “Beware, this house is haunted,” along with other writing in black marker. This does not in any way appear to be anything paranormal.

No other evidence was located at the upstairs residence.

Investigators considered the possibility of the resident's past domestic violence having residual effects, possibly following her to the new residence. Many of the things that have been happening to her (hitting, face slapping, pinching, etc.) had happened during the prior abusive relationship, in the same places on her body. The communicator also had mentioned the entity present called the resident something similar to “My Beautiful One”, and the resident said her ex had called her “My Pretty One” or something similar.

Investigators were unable to locate any historical information of note at the location or anywhere near enough to be of any significance.
