DECEMBER, 2009 INVESTIGATION – PRIVATE RESIDENCE in YUBA CITY

We did a preliminary investigation at a private residence inYuba City, CA.We were contacted by the current resident of the property who requested an investigation.

Investigators:
Harold, Danny, Andrea, Moria and Pedro

Equipment used:
Digital cameras, Digital recorders, EMF Detectors, Digital Thermometer, Video Recorder.

Location:
Residence is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 story house with attached garage. It sits on a corner lot in a residential neighborhood, has a fenced back yard with shrubs/plants in the front.

Historical information gathered included specific reports from residents concerning a variety of phenomena. Family members engaging in conversations with no visible person, the appearance of shadows and/or apparitions, feelings of being watched and of foreboding in certain areas of the house, centering around the children’s room, attic access in master bedroom closet, living room (focus on Christmas tree area) and portions of the stairs. Also reported: a family member suspects they may have been followed by entities from previous residences and a psychic informed her she attracts entities who attach themselves to her.

There has been only one incident of violence which happened at prior residence but the family member feels it was not a hostile act as opposed to a response tied into them moving at the time.

Children were unwilling to go upstairs by themselves and required parental presence to sleep. Parents also reported not going to certain parts of the house willingly or after evening hours.

Evidence gathered:
Nothing out of the ordinary.

Photo evidence:
2 pictures of oddly colored orbs.

Recorded evidence:
Nothing out of the ordinary captured

Personal experiences:
High energy location with 24/7 lighting, activity and noise permeating the house from TV, other residents etc.
* Notable drop in energy level when lights and all appliances were turned off. *

Investigation techniques:
Photos, EVPS and Video Recordings taken throughout the house, special focus on children’s rooms, attic access in master bedroom closet and living room surrounding Christmas tree. Nothing extraordinary noted in any of the photos other than an occasional orb which were explainable except for two.

Erratic EMF spikes in children’s room and around Christmas tree can not be accounted for. The EMF detector reacted as if it were losing power in the tree area, and in EVP session EMF detector responded 4 times in a row by acting as if it were losing power simultaneously as investigators asked for manifestations of presence. No EVP or photographic data was gathered indicating entity presence or paranormal activity.

Present Sensitive reported feeling of a presence moving from one room to upstairs, but investigators were unable to capture anything on film or EVP to substantiate. Video recorder was fully charged and in less than an hour monitoring the children’s room, was completely drained of power but captured nothing out of the ordinary during time frame it was running.

Conclusion:
Although we captured no physical evidence while there, it was definitely worth the trip if for no other reason the complexity of various interrelated factors and multiple interpretations available.

It was the general consensus of the group the constant amount of noise and/or light and resident activity could create inordinately high levels of EMF energy which could account for feelings of being watched, uneasiness etc., or be a factor in itself in disturbing any present energy. If these factors were significantly lessened it would be a good comparison for past and future investigations.

It was also noted by investigators Harold and Danny the current venting system of the residence allows sounds and light to travel throughout the house which may account for unaccounted for sounds/noises. Investigators Harold, Danny and Pedro noted pipes in garage are not secured/strapped down and move easily, creating a banging sound when they move.

Since resident reported past efforts of house cleansing/blessing by faith based group, there is always the option present of finding another group/persons who could perform similar ceremonies or take stronger measures in lessening or removing activity.

In many instances, if the family presents a united front and is consistent in their decisions regarding boundaries of behavior by any present entities, much of the activity will lessen or disappear.

Environmental factors often times influence activity and a change in factors can result in a change of activity.
